I decided to start writing journals for the whole year of me being 19.
(That's last year of my 10s)
well I should have started on my birthday yesterday.
Maybe I should describe my birthday as well.
I went to the Italian Kitchen with Claudia, Dave, Sheena, Cindy, and Frank.
(Isabel couldn't make it, as always)
We were given the brunch menu, which I thought was weird.
I didn't know that Italians(or maybe just generally people?) have brunch as late as 1 o'clock.
Anyways, I ordered a sharing plate with Claudia, which consists of a bunch of stuff...
Frank had a pizza and Dave ordered pasta that was too spicy for him. Lol
There were mostly deep fried items in our plate.
(I guess that's why I'm having some acnes on my forehead right now.)
And we also ordered the Italian doughnut.
We had one each and it was pretty good.
Overall, I think it was not bad but doesn't worth the money we paid for.
After lunch (or brunch), we basically just went home after going to LD and Sephora.
I just accepted the fact that my 19th birthday was not a big deal.
Since I had a physics test the next day, I couldn't go out and have fun.
I was kind of sad/dissapointed actually, because it seemed like everything was organized by myself
instead of others celebrating for me.
As soon as I got home and put my stuff down,
I heard the birthday song coming out from the bag that Claudia gave me.
That was quite a surprise and I found it really sweet.
I liked her presents and the hair spray from Cindy as well.
Also, my homestay bought me an Oreo cake.
That was very nice of them.
They lighted 19 candles for me.
(There wasn't much space on the cake to put all those candles haha.)
I was a little skeptical of my birthday since I've been dreaming about these surprise parties and big cakes
but I guess it's okay to have a toned down birthday.
